Support Worker

Job Overview

We at White Lillies Care are looking for caring, empathetic and hardworking Support Workers to join our care team and make a difference in people's lives. You will be enabling people to stay in the comfort of their own homes and still enjoy their activities.

We provide the highest quality of care to all our clients and expect that standard of all our care staff.

The ideal candidate will receive full training, paid induction, hands-on and telephone support from Management to ensure you are confident in delivering the best possible care to all our clients.

All our care visits are a minimum of 30mins, with clients requiring varying levels of support.

Salary: £12.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing,

  • Companionship and emotional support to clients,

  • Assist with meal planning and preparation

  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and laundry

  • Assist with medication reminders

  • Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Basic IT Skills,

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently,

  • Compassionate and patient demeanour,

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills,

  • Reliable transportation to travel to client's homes.
